Weebubbie Cave One of the caves that is considered the most picturesque of the caves, Weebubbie Cave near Eucla. The sinkhole to this cave is about the same size as that of Koonalda Cave. A wide tunnel containing many boulders leads from the sinkhole to the main chamber down a gentle slope leading to a large, beautiful lake. In this lake and the adjacent pool it is difficult to see where the edge of the water is because it is so clear. This chamber is unusual in that its walls are perfectly smooth and the ceiling is flat. Helen Grasswill & Reg Morrison, Australia, a Timeless Grandeur, Lansdowne, 1981 |
