Australia: The Land Where Time Began
This lake, near Lake Barrine on the Atherton Tableland, north Queensland, formed in same fashion and at the same time as Lake Barrine.
The Aboriginal People of the area have a number of versions of the story of the formation of the lake, passed on by oral tradition, that may be an eye-witness report of the event.
