Gippsland Basin - Strzelecki Basin

A large basin off shore from Victoria, it is on the southeast margin of the continental shelf, with about 2/3 of the basin offshore in water that is mainly less than 200 m, dropping to more than 3000 m in the Bass Canyon in the east.
