Ellery Creek Bighole

Ellery Creek Big Hole Nature Park is part of the West MacDonnell National Park in central Australia.
Ellery Creek Big Hole is noted for its high red cliffs, large waterhole and sandy creek lined with river red gums. Depending on the season there is a large pool in the gorge.
Birds in the area include parrots, fairy-wrens, robins, cuckoos and honeyeaters. Budgerigars, sacred
kingfishers, rainbow bee-eaters are seen above the waterhole.
ACTIVITIES: Bushwalking, Swimming.
