Bookartoo (Parachilna) is in South Australia. Extensive ochre mining occurred at this site during the late Holocene, as well as at Wilgie Mia, Western Australia, and the Campbell Ranges, Northern Territory (Hiscock, 1996; Mulvaney & Kamminga, 1999).
