Silver Dollar Site, Shark Bay, Western Australia

Bailer shell from this site has been dated to 18,730 +/- 600 years ago (Bowdler, 1990a; O'Connor et al.,1993). The site was 100 km from the coast at the time of occupation, suggesting long distance exchange or transport during the late Pleistocene.
