Fruit Trees around Aboriginal camp sites

They spat out seeds of fruit trees onto refuse heaps around their camps, the ideal location for the trees to germinate amongst the compost. The association between stands of native fruit trees and middens around camp sites is made use of by archaeologists looking for likely sites to excavate.
